Why Page Tabs list is not shown in Umbraco Admin 17 UI?

Recently, I migrated my project from Umbraco 13 to 17. But the content list is missing in Umbraco Admin 17. Is this expected in U17?

Hi,
We have seen this problem a few times. The solution is to ensure all values are correct in the List View data type:

It looks like the collection views did not migrate (correctly) over. Check that the default list view for media is set up correctly, like so: [image] Notice that the two layout aliases need to have the correct values, especially the grid view with ”Umb.CollectionView.Media.Grid”.

I think that thread has a few pointers for you to look at, as the problem is the same for media as it is for documents.

List View data type:

Hi, Thanks for your help. My issue is related to the Umbraco17 Admin UI behaviour, not the List View data type. In U13, when I click ‘Content’, all the Tabs for the page are listed, and I can navigate different tabs easily. But in U17, it’s not listed.

Is that a migration issue, or has this feature been removed?

Oh sorry, I misunderstood you when you said “Content list”.

In Umbraco 17, the tabs are shown beneath the title bar:

If your expected tabs do not show up there, something might be wrong in the migration. Do you see the tabs in the document type under Settings → Document Types?

I think this feature was never implemented in the new backoffice. From what I understand from your question is that you used to be able to straight jump to a specific property group with that menu you have in your screenshot. To my knowledge, that does not exist in Umbraco 17.
