I just created my account and it says This user's public profile is hidden. e.g. if I visit Profile - liamgold - Umbraco community forum in a new window
The checkbox in my profile is unticked for Hide my public profile is unticked.
Is there a minimum amount of time before it is actually made public?
Hmmm, strange, I can only find this post, does that apply?
Ah, it was a setting, found it!
I disabled that now, profile is visible publicly now! 
Might have to revert this if we do get actual spammers. And then it will take a little time being active on the forum to reach level 2 and the profile will become public.
But let’s hope for the best and we won’t see spammers any time soon!
