Automations? Friendly bump the original poster to mark a solution

I think in the old our.umbraco.com forums there was some kind of automation to give the original poster a friendly reminder/bump to see if their post has been answered and if so, to mark an answer as solved.

Is this possible to do with Discourse @sebastiaan ?

It’s configured, haven’t tested it but I trust it works!

I won’t mark you reply as the solution and see when and if I get a friendly bump to mark something as solved.

Do you know when/how long it will be before it tries to ping me?

A week, a month?

Actually just looked and I’m not sure if that’s part of the “Solved” plugin, there was other notifications I configured apparently.

I’ll note it down as a feature request for the plugin author! :+1:

Apparently, there’s a nudge on the topic itself to mark it as solved but not an email. I’ve requested the feature:

Ha! They pointed me to an accompanying plugin to do just this:

This one is now installed and should remind you after 3 days of no activity on the topic to mark a reply as the solution.
