We are using uSync Complete to push our changes from lower environment to upper.
In our Umbraco application, under News page we have more then 400+ child pages with 3 level of nesting.
When we are trying to push our changes to server then getting timeout issue.
Yes, most of those steps should have helped a bit - the next thing to do is look on the upper environment logs to see if there is anything there.
sometimes this can come down to notification handlers on a server triggering when things are saved / published - and the knock-on effect of this can be slow publish/save times, and if uSync notices that it “might” log that (it depends on timing etc, but if its really slow it will say, something is making publish take a long time).
So checking if you have any custom code notifications is worth looking to see if that might have an impact.
in terms of uSync the other thing to look at is the default usync settings on the target site, if that site is getting pushed to it probably doesn’t need uSync saving things to disk (exportOnSave) or the very least not saving content - so exportOnSave set to “settings” or “none” might also help.
also, just check you are on the latest versions of uSync.Complete, we often have performance improvements etc in releases and so if you are seeing slow down it might be worth updating too.
