I’ve updated Umbraco instances many times but have not run into this issue before. My goal is to upgrade from 13.2.2 to 13.5.1 and I hit this snag. I figured I could try a smaller upgrade so next tried to just go from 13.2.2 to 13.3.0 and same issue:
An error occurred while starting the application.
DirectoryNotFoundException: .nuget\packages\umbraco.cms.staticassets\13.3.0\staticwebassets\
Now, this directory absolutely exists. I’ve never run into this issue in the past. One wrinkle: this is a new laptop. I thought maybe it had to do with installing Umbraco Templates through the CLI. So I did so by running:
dotnet new install Umbraco.Templates.
