A few days ago I released my very first open source Umbraco package: Advanced Permissions for Umbraco! It extends the User Group permission system in Umbraco with more fine-grained control.
The default Umbraco permission system works for many scenarios, but in my opinion it becomes too limited once projects grow in complexity. Over the years I’ve run into cases where I felt the permission model could — and should — be more flexible.
