Umbraco 13 - migrating page content from UAT to Prod

Hello forum,

We have a client who wants to use Umbraco and is requesting a content workflow that includes a UAT environment where content editors can input and review content. Once approved, they want to migrate that content to the Production environment.

We’re exploring options and wondering:

  • How complex is this to implement with custom code?
  • Are there any marketplace solutions or add-ons that support this kind of staged content publishing?
  • Ideally, we’re looking for a way to sync content, media, and structure (like document types or templates) from UAT to Production.

Any input or experience you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Hey @StuartAtCreate, welcome to the forum!

You’ve got two options here:

Both have a cost associated, but I’d suggest generally using the free version of uSync anyway to keep doctypes/templates in sync!
