Tree shows items even through grid view selected

Hello, hope you can help as this is a confusing one, and I don’t know if this is a bug or a new feature, but I have set up my parent/child document type lists in Umbraco to not show in the tree because there will be over 500 nodes. And this displays fine when you first look at the parent node.

But then for some reason when I filter on the list in the main panel, the item I am looking for is then populated in the left hand tree with it’s surrounding sibling nodes.

Is that meant to happen like that?

Then this is a terrible design decision. Adding those items into the tree and removing the back button from the child node detail area is just silly :frowning: The browser back button loses your filter if you have filtered.

Ugh. I have 31 one pages of advocates. If I am on page 20, view one item, I hit the back button in the browser I am now page at page 1! Ugh.
