We wouldn’t normally bother with point release announcements but this version of Translation Manager makes the whole translation thing much simpler.
- We have rationalized all the editor dialogs, showing less things they don’t really care about -
- Quick translate gives you *almost* one click translations (it’s two - one click on the button, one click on “ok”)
- The AI Translator now lets you do combine a system wide translation prompt and a per translation prompt - so you can get real specific about translations to AI (we support, ChatGPT, Claude, Azure, Gemini, and its all expandable)
- Translation memory works with more things, so Umbraco can remember translations and not send things to expensive AI models every time someone updates a single word at the end of a five page summary.
In summary this one is now simpler and hopefully easier to use with that trendy stuff people keep talking about.
