This document is published but its URL cannot be routed

Hi,

Im starting to get this “error” randomly recently.

This document is published but its URL cannot be routed error on a published page.

Haven’t seen this occour so many times (not at all actually).
But now it has happend randomly 2-3 times in the past month. Without changing anything on the page in Backoffice.

The only “fix” i’ve found, is publish the page again, but with it occouring randomly, the page could end up being “not routed” for some days, before finding out.

V.11 (yes i know its being EOL)

Hi Mike,

I’ve had that happen before when the published memory cache went out of whack.

I would recommend trying to rebuild the memory cache from the settings section:
Settings > Published Status > Memory Cache > Reload

If that doesn’t work, then try deleting the cache files from disk wwwroot > umbraco > Data > Temp > NuCache and restarting the site.

I remember having a few issues in v12, where the memory cache would break if you had more media than content, but I’m not sure if that issue also affected v11.

Hopefully your issue is a one-off, and rebuilding the cache will sort it. :crossed_fingers:

Hi @owainjones.dev

Thank you for the suggestion, i have tried reloading the memory cache, and will see if its gonna pop up again (Hopefully not)
Or else i should propably update for a v13 or something

Thank you! :crossed_fingers:

You should anyway since it’s EOL as you pointed out yourself
