Skybrud Redirects does not redirect when Error404Collection is set up

Hi,
I’ve integrated Skybrud.Umbraco.Redirects in a Umbraco 9 project.
As we’d like to have custom 404 error pages Error404Collection setting is pointing to a CMS page.

"Error404Collection": [
      {
        "Culture": "default",
        "ContentKey": "3fd670a0-2f5d-4c6f-bb1d-5400ff5bb00a"
      }
    ]

This works fine, but it seems to catch 404 before Skybrud is able to potentially do a configured redirect.

How can I have custom error pages and redirects work together?
