PLEASE fix the spam of pop up messages!

Hello,

I am a professional QA Engineer and Content Manager currently working with Umbraco 16. First, I want to say that I really enjoy using Umbraco. The platform is powerful, intuitive, and a pleasure to work with.

However, I wanted to share some feedback regarding the green pop-up notifications that appear when editing content. While these messages are useful and provide helpful confirmation, there are many occasions where they stack up and end up covering the entire screen (from the bottom all the way to the top!). This makes it difficult to continue working, as the notifications block key areas of the interface.

Would it be possible to improve the notification behaviour so they do not overwhelm the screen? For example, perhaps limiting the number that are displayed at once, allowing them to collapse into a single expandable list, or providing a “clear all notifications” button would greatly improve user experience. Nevertheless, the current situation is not manageable.

Below an illustration (example) of what I mean:

Can confirm, very annoying! There should be a maximum amount of notifications visible at one time. Would be great if this was configurable.

Looks like a bug, you should report it at GitHub · Where software is built

They’re supposed to clear based on last change (like 3-5 seconds). If they aren’t, it’s a bug.

Yeh I would say its a bug IMO, unless there is someone turning off and on the WIFI very rapidly :joy:

If you create an issue, I suggest putting a link to it in this forum thread so others can see it and follow its progress.
