We’re excited to announce the release of UmbracoMediaSnapshot on the Umbraco Marketplace! 
What it does: UmbracoMediaSnapshot adds automatic file version history to Umbraco, backed by Azure Blob Storage. Every time an editor uploads a new file to a media item, the previous version is automatically archived to a dedicated umbraco-snapshots container. Editors can then browse, compare, restore, annotate, and download any previous version directly from the backoffice.
Why we built it: We created this package to address a gap we encountered: unlike the content section, the media section doesn’t have a built-in rollback mechanism. This makes it risky when editors accidentally overwrite important files. UmbracoMediaSnapshot solves this problem by giving you the same peace of mind for media that you already have for content.
