I run a cloned version locally. Umbraco ver 18. I have connected to a local copy of the DB on SQL Server 2022.
As I try to login with my Umbraco ID, I get redirected to https://redirect.identity.umbraco.com. I think that is expected. But, then I end up or logged in to my Cloud environment, not to my local environment. What do I miss here?

Yes it’s exspected to get redirected to https://redirect.identity.umbraco.com
When you say end up logged into you Cloud environment, do you mean you’re redirected to an Umbraco Cloud portal (https://www.s1.umbraco.io/)? When logging into a Cloud project locally, you should expect to see something like this, where Deploy is linking in the other cloud environments
I end up logging into the backoffice in the Cloud Environment. I guess I should come to the Backoffice located on my localhost. Something is wrong as I’m logging in with my Umbraco ID.
And once you’ve logged in to Umbraco Id, going to https://localhost:[portNumber]/umbraco takes you to the Umbraco Cloud portal again?
Sounds unusual if it is the case, might be worth reaching out to cloud support to see if they can help troubleshoot
