Info or knowledge base category?

I’m not sure if I like my own idea, but what better in that case to place it here. Sometimes I figured something out that I want to share. So it’s not really a question, because otherwise I would immediately need to solve my own question, so the question catagory is not the best place.

I know I can start a blog, but I think it would be nice if we could post thinks we found out and will show up in the search results when someone comes to the forum. I’m thinking about a category called ‘Info’ or ‘Knowledge base’ or something, not sure yet.

Anyway, what do you all think?

The idea behind having very, very few categories is to not confuse people, we have seen on Discord that it is all too easy for people to just post randomly somewhere and I’m trying to avoid creating new categories for as long as I can.

I think it would be great if you write a blog post instead, logging in on dev.to is easy with a GitHub account.

I have literally JUST added an Announcements category which is also open for adding your newly written blog posts.

An idea for a new version of our.umbraco, is the ability to create your own blog there (just like on dev.to)
