HQ Team Participation?

Hiya,
I was just curious if any HQ members intend on using the forums with the community or is the plan for just the DevRel facing team to be active/around here?

If I was to ask a technical question regarding bellissima for example, would I likely to get someone from the Dev team swing by and perhaps drop a reply or would I only be chatting with my fellow community peeps?

Just curious to know and get an early set of expectations for myself and anyone else curious.

I know from the past, community engagement is like an extra curricular thing for most people at HQ, but with a better forum platform I am slightly hopeful that we may get to see some more HQ members swing by and help where they can, and as I for one remember my earlier interactions on a mailing list & forum when discovering Umbraco and getting a reply from someone working on the product was a nice feeling.

However I totally get that its hard to scale and for people to do their day jobs and try to hang out over here as well.

Either way curious to know what the official stance is.

Same as on Discord! They’re here, they will participate when they can and want, but it’s not quite their job! :grin:

To quote that one:

You’ll see people from HQ stopping by here on a voluntary basis to talk about things that pique their interest. Be nice to them, they’re not on support duty! :wink:

Yep totally fair and I thought it would be the case and thought I would get expectations set out early.

I will note that I talked to quite a few people and they’re excited to participate, so hopefully we’ll see some HQ people “on the regular”.
