Examine index license issues

Hello, we have a container app in Azure which uses examine indexes.

Hi, all of a sudden all of our Examine indexes stopped working and were limited to 100 documents as if we are not licensed.

It was working fine until today.
Now it says there are license issues.

The license is valid until 10th of May 2026. We haven’t changed any contents of the license. And I checked the container can access the outside Internet as well.

A couple of old Lucene indexes are fine so it’s only Examine.

No useful information regarding this in logs.

Did anyone see anything similar?

Okay, it turned out after the restart for reasons unknown the ExamineX-Azure-Umbraco.renewed.lic file was not generated and this casued the issue.

Restart fixed the issue.
Ugh… the case is closed.
