Dot Net Template with Content - URLs for pages missing on site creation

UmBootstrap - URLs for pages missing on site creation.

To recreate run dotnet new umboostrap.
You will see all of the content pages have been created but are missing URLS.
Can be solved by publishing Home Page and all descendants.

Is it possible usync is clearing the routing from the cache?

Hi,

this is one of those very deep rabbit holes.

there is an issue with importing and publishing content on the first boot of umbraco, and the 'workaround’ is to republish everything after it’s imported.

you can see this is how @prjseal does it in the clean starter kit.

where the site is republished once its imported.

we do have something (that use to work!) in usync where on the first boot installs we refresh the umbraco cache to achieve something similar.

but that doesn’t seem to be doing the thing on the v16 installs.

So i went off deep to try and work out what the actual issue is within Umbraco with the aim of finding the minimum effect thing we can do to poke the relevant cache/information. long story short, i am yet to find out what it is

so still working out what we might do best here.

Thank you @KevinJump - this behaviour only seemed to start at 16.2 but perhaps I just didn’t spot it before then. I’ll add some user notes to republish for now. Grateful as always for your time.

Hey @KevinJump I have just upgraded Umbraco to 16.3.0-rc2 and Usync to 16.0.7 but am now getting no content at all even importing manually.
Happy to screenshare you through the issue if you have time?

It works for me rc2 and 16.0.7
do you have any errors/warnings in the logs?
