in V-15 in general when and why would get I get the error Message: “Document was not published, but we saved it for you.”
meaning it saves it But wont let me Publish it?

Usually it’s a validation error, or the parent doucment is not published yet.

I’m getting this error on a v16 build. On the pages where it’s happening, there’s no validation errors on the page and all the ancestors in the tree publish just fine. It’s a multi-lingual site.

Did it turn out to be validation @LinnPower or did you find something else?

Egg on my face right here… in my case it WAS a validation issue (just hidden behind a layer of tabs and block lists :melting_face:)

Just want to let you know this is one of the few missing features from v.13 that still haven’t made it to v.16, but it’s on its way.

To be specific, the missing implementations is regarding displaying Validation Badges across the navigational elements. Similarly, there is currently a bad experience when having issues on another culture.
