Backups on Umbraco Cloud

I’m interested to know if Umbraco Cloud has any sort of backup options. I can see in the FAQs that sites use Azure Storage LRS, but I don’t know if content and media are backed up in any way?

Whilst not answering your question about anything automatic included in cloud (or indeed if backups that are persisted on the same environment are really backups - I have once had an issue where geocentric data backups on azure were useless as couldn’t actually get at them to restore elsewhere when there was a power outage in a data center that meant couldn’t access any service for my account)

not entirely sure what On Umbraco Cloud, you can utilize our 35-day point-in-time recovery to create and download a bacpac file from your project. ie what the 35-day is referring to…
but you can at least manually create bacpacs these days via the cloud admin backoffice. (maybe they just persist for 35 days)

with regards media in blob storage again manually you can use azure storage explorer.. as per the docs.

I’ve also in the past used goodSync to manually fetch things down on a schedule
Microsoft Azure – GoodSync

And there is also AZCopy for automation via powershell. (check out the sync option for incremental use)

Thanks Mike. For discoverability – there’s more FAQs in Umbraco Docs. That covered my original question.
