Backoffice fields appear grayed out, umbraco-backoffice angularjs issues?

since new fields, with the same propety editor are working im thinking something must be amiss with the existing data.

i’ve no idea how to check this but i’ll try to dive into the database or something. Or, yeah.. I don’t really know

What I might try is to do a full uSync export and a full import on an empty v13 site and see if it has the same problems. If it does, then there’s likely something wrong with the stored data and you can inspect the uSync files and compare between the new fields and the existing fields quite easily.

If it all works in a blank site, after a uSync import then.. seems like there’s something wrong with your origin site, might be bad cache, might be custom code.. will be hard to tell

the entire site is a mess so I wouldn’t be suprised one bit if it’s custom code somewhere

Did you update all the caches, just to be sure?

Also, maybe rebuild the internal index?

I just did, it did nothing though :frowning:

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all the effort you guys are putting into helping me out

Instead of “guys”, may we suggest, for example: “folks", “Umbracians”, “all”, or “everyone”? We use gender inclusive language in this forum  (read more)

well pardon me,

all the effort all you “Umbracians” are putting into helping me out

Sorry, been away for a little bit. I think the uSync approach is a smart way to check the data  I know the feeling when you’re at a dead end and the client just wants it fixed… We’ve all been there I think :stuck_out_tongue:

We all just trying to help each other out here
