Any advice for migrating from on-premises to Umbraco Cloud?

Hey folks,

The documentation lists the following steps to follow when looking to migrate an existing on-premises site to Umbraco Cloud:

  • Upgrade to latest LTS version
  • Ensure packages are cloud compatible
  • Avoid legacy code (as in avoid migrating from sites older than version 7 :sweat_smile:)

So if all those are :white_check_mark: are there any other considerations? Have people experienced any issues when doing this? Thanks in advance!

I’ve done a lot of migrations to cloud. Normally its smooth sailing if you follow the docs.
